Two more police officers were sent on retirement



Two police officers were sent to retire before the end of their term. In a separate notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday, two police officers have been notified of 'compulsory' retirement before the end of their service.


The two retired officers are Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police Crime Investigation Department in Dhaka. Alamgir Alam and Additional Deputy Inspector General of Dhaka Tourist Police. Mahbub Hakim


Earlier on October 18, the government retired three officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP).

It is said in a notification, "Dhaka Crime Investigation Department Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police Md. Alamgir Alam was granted retirement from public service in the public interest as per the provisions of section 45 of the Public Service Act 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018). This order will be effective immediately in public interest.

Another announcement said, "Dhaka Tourist Police Additional Deputy Inspector General Md. Mahbub Hakeem was retired from public service in the public interest as per section 45 of the Public Service Act 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018). This order will be effective immediately in public interest.


Earlier on October 18, the government retired three officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP). They are Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Mirza Abdullahel Baki and Md. Delwar Hossain Mia and Superintendent of Police (TR) Muhammad Shahidullah Chowdhury of Police Headquarters.

Earlier on October 16, the Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The government sent Maqbul Hossain to retirement.
